If you want something crazy retro, then I\u2019m the right guy,\u201d Danny told The Simpsons creator Matt Groening.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Danny Elfman\" title=\"Danny Elfman\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/danny-elfman.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Matt was keen and amazingly, Danny had written the music before he even arrived home from their meeting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wrote it in my head in the car in the way home, ran down to my studio before I could forget it, recorded the whole thing and sent it to Matt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd the next day he said, Yep,&nbsp;that\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did it for fun,\u201d Danny said. \u201cI didn\u2019t expect anybody to see The Simpsons.
