Chloe Valentine\u2019s grandmother Belinda Valentine talks about the change she wants to see.<\/h3>\n

Chloe Valentine\u2019s grandmother says she had no one to turn to as it became clear Ashlee Polkinghorne was unfit to care for the child.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe really didn\u2019t have anywhere to go to be able to say, look, this isn\u2019t working,\u201d Belinda told FIVEAA breakfast. \u201cHopefully that will change.\u201d<\/p>\n

Belinda said she hoped the inquest into Chloe\u2019s death would result in positive changes to the way Families SA operates \u2013 \u201cso that no other family or children have to go through what we had to go through and what Chloe had to go through\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very fluid at the moment because changes are being made and looked at, so that\u2019s a very positive thing for us\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c(Families SA) chief executive Tony Harrison has given some really positive insight into some of the changes that he has already implemented,\u201d Belinda said.<\/p>\n
