Flooding is possible across large parts of SA in the next few days with up to 80mm expected to fall in some areas\u2026<\/span><\/h3>\n

According to a Flood Watch from the Bureau of Meteorology on Thursday:<\/span><\/p>\n

High levels of tropical moisture will move into the north of South Australia today and then extend into central and southeast parts on Friday and Saturday before contracting east overnight Saturday. This will be accompanied by a band of showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

Rainfall totals from Thursday to early Sunday morning are expected to be 20 to 80 mm in a band extending from the central parts of the Pastoral districts southwards over the central and southeast agricultural areas. Isolated falls up to 100mm are also possible with thunderstorms. Rainfall beginning in the north on Thursday then extending south during Friday and continuing on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Within the rain band there will be areas of heavy falls which may cause some flooding between Thursday (in the north) extending south on Friday and Saturday. Roads and crossings may be affected and some streams and rivers could break their banks. In the Mount Lofty Ranges catchments minor flooding may affect some locations on Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
