{"id":38686,"date":"2020-01-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-14T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/adelaide-now-has-most-expensive-petrol-mainland-australia\/"},"modified":"2020-01-14T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-14T00:00:00","slug":"adelaide-now-has-most-expensive-petrol-mainland-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/news\/adelaide-now-has-most-expensive-petrol-mainland-australia\/","title":{"rendered":"Adelaide Now Has The Most Expensive Petrol In Mainland Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The average price of unleaded petrol in Adelaide jumped 32.5 cents per litre in 2019, making it the second most expensive city behind Hobart.<\/h3>\n<p>The Advertiser\u2019s Miles Kemp reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In January, Adelaide, with an average price of 123.5c\/L, was ranked just above the cheapest capital Brisbane, on 122c\/L.<\/p>\n<p>By December last year Adelaide\u2019s average price had jumped to 156c\/L and also climbed the rankings to second-most expensive behind only Hobart on 157.5c\/L.<\/p>\n<p>The figures were revealed by the RAA on Tuesday as it continues a battle to have a government-backed real-time fuel pricing app on the market.<\/p>\n<p>RAA spokesman Mark Borlace said it was more important than ever for motorists to be able to log on and find out exact prices, backed by government information.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In January, Adelaide petrol prices were cheaper than every capital city apart from Brisbane.
