It's official, 2019 was Australia\u2019s warmest year on record. Last year was also the country's driest on record, surpassing the previous driest year in 1902.
\n\t\t– South Australia’s mean temperature was 1.45 \u00b0C above average.
\n\t\t– Adelaide had its hottest day on record on 24 January, and every month apart from August had a mean maximum temperature above average.
\n\t\t– Rainfall in Adelaide was well below average, including a record dry January to April.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
