Adelaide Crows coach Matthew Nicks says he has \u201cno issue\u201d sharing accommodation with cross-town rival Port Adelaide after David Koch revealed he had asked for separate hotels<\/a> in the QLD hub where both SA teams will be based for the rebooted AFL season.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Kochie told FIVEAA Breakfast\u2019s David & Will on Monday:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve actually requested not to be in the same hotel\u2026<\/p>

\u201cWe have enormous respect for the team, for the Crows, absolutely enormous respect, but just don\u2019t like you. We\u2019re so different. Why should we have to spend eight weeks in the same hotel?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Asked about the comments, Nicks said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have an issue with being with Port Adelaide whatsoever. We cross the white line I think she\u2019s on, but I know a lot of our guys, they know each other really well.<\/p>

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of work done behind the scenes especially this season around how the AFL and how the players and coaches are going to do whatever they can to come together and play games. That\u2019s what we\u2019re about at this point.<\/p>

\u201cSharing a hotel with Port Adelaide I have no issue. I know a lot of them well\u2026 when it\u2019s a Showdown, different story.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
