Crows premiership captain and FIVEAA\u2019s own Mark Bickley asked why fans who might be experiencing financial hardship couldn\u2019t just tick a refund box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fagan explained on the FIVEAA sports show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe don\u2019t want them to make a choice and then later on regret the choice they\u2019ve made. The staff are not there to do anything other than process the request and make sure people have the clarity of all the options.<\/p>
\u201cWe\u2019re certainly not looking to cajole them into doing something they\u2019re not comfortable with\u2026<\/p>
\u201cThe reason we wanted people to call the club is based on the nature of the calls we\u2019ve had over the past couple of months. It\u2019s where people have called up who haven\u2019t been clear about what a cancellation might provide, if they lose some options about guaranteeing their seat for next year, and if it means they\u2019re not a member this year and they don\u2019t get some of the communication\u2026<\/p>
\u201cWe\u2019ve just found that the vast majority of those people they are helped by the conversation and the clarity that\u2019s provided by speaking to one of our membership staff, which is why we encourage people to do it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
