{"id":42106,"date":"2020-06-09T14:38:51","date_gmt":"2020-06-09T05:08:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/?p=42106"},"modified":"2020-06-09T14:41:19","modified_gmt":"2020-06-09T05:11:19","slug":"parts-of-adelaide-were-in-the-minus-this-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/david-and-will-2\/parts-of-adelaide-were-in-the-minus-this-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Parts Of Adelaide Were In Minus This Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temperatures in parts of Adelaide were in minus on Tuesday as the city became the coldest capital in Australia.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bureau of Meteorology\u2019s Simon Timke spoke to FIVEAA Breakfast before 7am on Tuesday when the temp on West Terrace was 1.7 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cLike yesterday a bit colder out over the northern suburbs,\u201d Simon reported. \u201cIt\u2019s been down to -1.4 degrees at Parafield a few minutes ago, so some frost out over the northern suburbs.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bom.gov.au\/sa\/observations\/adelaide.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Elsewhere in the Adelaide area<\/a> it got down to -2.8 in Pallamana and -0.3 in Roseworthy. Further afield it was -5.3 in Yunta, -3.8 in Renmark and -3.3 in Loxton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Will Goodings was still on air when Adelaide reached 2 degrees and became \u201cofficially the coldest capital city in Australia\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"188\" src=\"https:\/\/embed.acast.com\/david-will\/david-willpodcast-9june2020\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FORECAST:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cOver the next couple of days temperatures just rising a tiny bit each day with sunny conditions continuing,\u201d Simon said. \u201cSunny for Wednesday, not quite so cold overnight either, down to 5 and up to 15 for Wed and for Thurs down to 5 up to 16 and almost a hot day on Friday up to 18 degrees.:<\/p><p>\u201cA little bit warmer to end the week but then a return to winter for the weekend with a cold front moving across and bringing showers and windy conditions on Saturday and still a couple of showers left over for Sunday.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Another cold to very cold morning for much of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SouthAustralia?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#SouthAustralia<\/a>.
