From Monday motorists will be able to turn left on red at 12 additional intersections around Adelaide.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The new locations have been added to the existing list of seven intersections where the move was already permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RAA\u2019s Charles Mountain told FIVEAA Breakfast on Monday:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat we\u2019re going to see is an additional 12 locations come on stream.<\/p>

\u201cWhat motorists will see is a sign that will say turn left on red signal permitted after stopping. You must stop first then check there is a gap in the traffic and if it\u2019s safe to do so and there\u2019s no pedestrians or cyclists crossing then you can turn left and move into the traffic.<\/p>

\u201cThe advantage potentially is it will save activating the signals so it reduces the delay at some locations.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
