You don\u2019t want to be the club that goes 0 and 17. Matthew Nicks needs his team. I think he needs to pull his big man pants up right now.<\/p><p>\u201cIf Mathew Nicks was two or three years into his tenure and he was 0 and 10 what do you reckon would happen? There\u2019s be an interim coach in now I reckon\u2026 he needs his team, his support. He\u2019s fresh in the job.<\/p><p>\u201cHe\u2019s got assistants that have been there two years, three years, four years, five years and 10 years. I\u2019d start there right now. You\u2019ve got Ross Lyon, you\u2019ve got Mark Williams, you\u2019ve got Neil Balme. I don\u2019t know if you can get them but have a crack. Speak to Matthew Nicks, have those conversations, start them now.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But David Penberthy is warning against \u201ca messiah complex\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cI don\u2019t even necessarily know if he needs to have his hand held this early on,\u201d Penbo said. \u201cYou don\u2019t want to clip the guys wings from the moment he starts and put him through the humiliation.\u201d<\/p><p>\u201cWe have this messiah complex, we need to bring in a Balmey or someone like that.
