We\u2019ve been contact by someone who\u2019s friends with a nurse who\u2019s currently working at the Peppers hotel on Waymouth St just opposite Topham Mall.<\/p><p>\u201cThere\u2019s a caf\u00e9 directly opposite the hotel that has put this sign up in the window\u2026 \u2018COVID-19 notice: All staff in association with the Peppers hotel during the mandatory quarantine isolation period will be refused service due to the severity of possible transmission to personnel within this building. We apologise for any inconvenience.\u2019<\/p><p>\u201cI think that\u2019s incredibly unfair on the staff that are working there,\u201d Penbo said. \u201cI\u2019d question its legality as well. I don\u2019t know if the people there making double cut rolls are noted epidemiologists\u2026<\/p><p>\u201cThese people probably get tested all the time to make sure they haven\u2019t got it.<\/p><p>\u201cI don\u2019t know how this caf\u00e9 can get away with doing that. And how would they even necessarily know?<\/p><p>\u201cI just think it\u2019s rude.
