I have separately asked a number of members of parliament for information related to their claims but they are not being investigated at this stage.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parliament will determine whether MPs can use parliamentary privilege to block the release of documents relating to the investigation, but Mr Lander has told David &amp; Will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cI don\u2019t think parliamentary privilege would apply in these circumstances but that is a matter for parliament and I thought I should let parliament make that decision before I pursue the lines of inquiry that I was taking.<\/p><p>\u201cThe people that I had summonsed to be examined were staffers of politicians.
