Port Adelaide champ Warren Tredrea has paid \u201ckudos\u201d to Ken Hinkley but says the club\u2019s current position doesn\u2019t change the fact it previously wasn\u2019t performing.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this week FIVEAA\u2019s Stephen Rowe said Port fans who had been against Hinkley now had to \u201cpull their heads in<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tredders told the FIVEAA sports show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDon\u2019t clip the Port fans\u2026 where were the performances?<\/p>

\u201cAbsolutely they\u2019ve done well but let\u2019s not just say Ken Hinkley\u2019s made the calls at list management. Jason Cripps, Chris Davies and Geoff Parker have actually made all these decisions. Ken\u2019s job is to coach not to construct a list or recruit. I think we get seduced\u2026<\/p>

\u201cThey [senior coaches] are one strong voice amongst a committee. Dom Cassisi a former player is involved on their list management strategy \u2013 a board member is involved in that. I\u2019m not saying Ken hasn\u2019t had this input, he has, but there are other people who sit in this piece.<\/p>

\u201cThe reason why people, us, and I was questioning Ken – I said if he didn\u2019t have a contract he wouldn\u2019t have a job last year like Don Pyke \u2013 why? Because they hadn\u2019t performed. But now they\u2019re performing absolute kudos.
