The alternative is to say we\u2019ve got to keep the deficit down so we can keep the debt down. That translates to average Australians [with a] greater chance of losing their jobs, finding it hard to feed their families, and you don\u2019t wish that on anyone.<\/p><p>\u201cThe whole rationale of why they want to create more jobs and keep businesses afloat is because those people in jobs pay tax to end up paying down the deficit in future years.
