Look at the better clubs like Geelong. What they did is you stagger them. It might be three players this year \u2013 we know Justin Westhoff already is one of them \u2013 then it might be three players the year after, and then it might be three players the year after that.<\/p><p>\u201cIf you manage that you don\u2019t get that horrible falling-of-a-cliff scenario where you lose 1,200 games of experience in one season\u2026\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But Rowey had a different take:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cOn his ability, his value to the team and this year you sign him now. I reckon they\u2019re going to take the decision out of his hands. It might be a doctor\u2019s\u2019 call.<\/p><p>\u201cHe\u2019s had so many concussions and head knocks, he\u2019s got a young family, he\u2019s a young man, he\u2019s got his whole life ahead of him, 259 great games &#8211; he wins a flag you\u2019d nearly say to yourself, you know what, you might have to look at it.
