We know who we\u2019re looking for and hopefully he will be apprehended soon.<\/p><p>\u201cWe want to speak to him regarding a number of charges.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>A 31-year-old woman was a passenger in the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe\u2019ve spoken to her and that really hasn\u2019t assisted our enquiries much further,\u201d Abbott said. \u201cWe\u2019re not really sure how long they\u2019ve known each other etc. She was in the front passenger seat but we really don\u2019t know whether she can tell us too much.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>There have been eyewitness reports that the vehicle was travelling at speeds in excess of 150km\/h moments before the collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/omny.fm\/shows\/david-and-will\/david-and-will-podcast-24-february-2021\/embed\" width=\"100%\" height=\"180\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"David and Will podcast - 24 February 2021\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Update: Police are searching for the driver of a black Commodore involved a crash at Daw Park this morning which has left two people in hospital <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/BhJoNfvUBM\">https:\/\/t.co\/BhJoNfvUBM<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uXLjTHMki1\">pic.twitter.com\/uXLjTHMki1<\/a><\/p>&mdash; South Australia Police (@SAPoliceNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SAPoliceNews\/status\/1364032897565425664?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 23, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a SAPOL report on Tuesday:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Just before 6.15am on Tuesday 23 February, a police patrol spotted a black Commodore sedan speeding north on Goodwood Road and activated their emergency lights. Moments later the Commodore collided with a white Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Goodwood Road and Dudley Street at Daw Park.<\/p><p>The driver of the Corolla a 40-year-old man from Daw Park sustained non life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment. While a passenger in the Commodore a 31-year-old woman from Adelaide was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p><p>The male driver of the Commodore fled the scene on foot shortly after the crash. Patrols searched the area but the man wasn&#8217;t located.<\/p><p>The Commodore has not been reported stolen. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash including searching for the male driver who may have been injured in the collision.<\/p><p>Goodwood Road was closed for most of the day.<\/p><p>Anyone with information on the collision including anyone that saw the black Commodore sedan travelling on Goodwood Road prior to the collision, is asked to please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The driver of a black Commodore who crashed his car at Daw Park and fled the scene on Tuesday is still at large as discussions with the driver\u2019s passenger fail to assist the investigation, say police.
