{"id":54553,"date":"2021-06-04T08:49:18","date_gmt":"2021-06-03T23:19:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/?p=54553"},"modified":"2021-06-04T08:49:22","modified_gmt":"2021-06-03T23:19:22","slug":"afl-asked-to-investigate-adelaide-crows-incident-on-flight-from-sydney","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/sport\/afl-asked-to-investigate-adelaide-crows-incident-on-flight-from-sydney\/","title":{"rendered":"AFL Asked To Investigate Adelaide Crows Incident On Flight From Sydney"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Adelaide Football Club says it will cooperate with an investigation into \u201cclaims that several players and staff were not appropriately wearing masks on a return flight from Sydney last Sunday\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Club has released the following statement.<\/p>&mdash; Adelaide Crows (@Adelaide_FC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Adelaide_FC\/status\/1400588403054239752?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 3, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.afc.com.au\/news\/951412\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement released on Friday<\/a> morning the club added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The Club also acknowledges the government requirement for people to wear masks in airports and on all domestic commercial flights to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19.<\/p><p>Our coaches, players and staff understand it is a privilege to be playing football during these times, as well as the need to adhere to protocols and guidance from health authorities.
