I\u2019ve got my own medical conditions which I shouldn\u2019t have to share publicly.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>ROWEY<\/strong>: \u201cNo, but that\u2019s important that people know that.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>NICK<\/strong>: \u201cIt\u2019s important and my specialist has a supporting letter to support my conditions, but I wouldn\u2019t want to go into any detail on that, but certainly that\u2019s my unique situation\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asked whether he got a fair and reasonable hearing from the club, Mr Takos said: \u201cI\u2019ve provided some information to the club for them to consider and I think it\u2019s fair what I provided the club.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LISTEN HERE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/omny.fm\/shows\/fiveaa-sports-show-with-rowey-bicks\/interview-nick-takos-9-december-2021\/embed\" width=\"100%\" height=\"180\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"INTERVIEW: Nick Takos - 9 December 2021\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This week Mr Takos said he had \u201cno choice\u201d but to step down over AFC\u2019s \u201cdeeply concerning\u201d response to the AFL\u2019s COVID vaccination mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">STATEMENT FROM NICK TAKOS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThe AFL\u2019s COVID mandate, and the club\u2019s deeply concerning response to it, has left me with no choice but to step down. I am passionate about the Crows and I have invested 21 years of service in one form or another to the club.
