{"id":67982,"date":"2022-02-09T09:15:51","date_gmt":"2022-02-08T22:45:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/?p=67982"},"modified":"2022-02-09T09:15:54","modified_gmt":"2022-02-08T22:45:54","slug":"some-childcare-centres-still-dont-have-enough-rats-reports-penbo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/news\/some-childcare-centres-still-dont-have-enough-rats-reports-penbo\/","title":{"rendered":"Some Childcare Centres Still Don\u2019t Have Enough RATs, Reports Penbo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A number of local childcare centres still have not received adequate supply of Rapid Antigen Test kits, reports FIVEAA Breakfast\u2019s David Penberthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/omny.fm\/shows\/fiveaa-sports-show-with-rowey-bicks\/roweys-sports-show-podcast-8-february-2022\/embed\" width=\"100%\" height=\"180\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"Rowey's Sports Show Podcast - 8 February 2022\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Penbo revealed during Wednesday\u2019s Breaking @ 8 segment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cMy understanding from talking to different childcare centres this morning \u2013 we\u2019ve been chatting to a number of them off air &#8211; is that they are still tearing their hair out to get their hands on these tests.<\/p><p>\u201cI\u2019ve got a bit of correspondence from one childcare centre that was sent out yesterday to parents apologising for the fact the system is not working.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement from the childcare centre said in part:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThe government has implemented a new testing, isolating and quarantine for preschool and early childcare settings which was due to take effect from Monday January 31.<\/p><p>\u201cUnfortunately the rollout has not gone smoothly.
