UPDATE, 11:06am<\/strong>: Latest from SAPOL after the infant inside a stolen car was found safe and well:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police have located the infant safe and well in the stolen Honda Jazz at Enfield.<\/p>

Around 7.45am, Monday 30 May, a woman had stopped in Fourth Avenue and briefly got out of her car, when a man unknown to her approached and drove off in her 2009 white Honda Jazz sedan. He was last seen driving off towards Windsor Grove. The woman was not physically.<\/p>

Police will allege the same man had initially arrived in a stolen Mazda dual cab utility before dumping it in Fourth Avenue and stealing the victim’s Honda sedan. The Mazda was stolen from a Black Forest address earlier this morning.<\/p>

Patrols immediately responded with extensive resources coordinated to conduct roving searches of neighbouring suburbs.<\/p>

Just after 10am, patrols located the car parked in Wilkinson Court at Enfield. The infant boy was safe and well and still seated in his restraint. The infant has been reunited with his mother and has been taken to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital as a precaution.<\/p>

Police are now directing their investigation towards locating the man who is believed to have stolen the car. UPDATE, 11am<\/strong>: Police have recovered a stolen Honda Jazz and the four-month baby boy trapped inside is safe. Police are still searching for the man who they believe stole the car. Police are about to speak to the media \u2013 more as we get it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
