Roads have been reopened after a serious crash on the Thiele Highway at Freeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to SAPOL:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About 6pm on Sunday 5 June, police and emergency services were called to an area between Job Road and Wandel Road after reports that a car towing a trailer travelling south had collided with a motorcycle travelling north, seriously injuring the male rider.<\/p>
The male driver got out of the ute and spoke to witnesses before driving off, in a light-coloured tray-top ute. The trailer was left behind at the scene.<\/p>
The driver is described as being of Caucasian appearance, being aged in his late teens\/early 20s, slim build, short dark-coloured hair and was wearing a light-coloured jacket, dark-coloured t-shirt and light-coloured pants.<\/p>
The tray-top ute (no sides on the tray) would have damage to the left side of the vehicle, which may have been sustained before the collision. It also had very bright front lights.<\/p>
The ute may also have the trailer electrical plug attached to the rear bumper.<\/p>
Major Crash officers attended the scene and are investigating the collision.<\/p>
