The community are asked to be patient while driving and to leave for their destinations earlier than usual to prepare for these expected delays.<\/p><p>Police urge motorists to slow down, drive to the conditions, never drive or ride through floodwaters and obey the directions of emergency services personnel.<\/p><p>Localised flooding and road damage has also been reported with many roads closed in both metro and regional areas. Please visit <a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.traffic.sa.gov.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.traffic.sa.gov.au\/<\/a> for updates regarding road closures.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Monday 14 Nov, 6:45am:<\/strong> More than 33,000 customers across SA are still without power following storms over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SA Power Networks advised on Sunday:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>This is the biggest network outage event since the 2016 State-wide blackout, and we have mobilised all possible resources and called in interstate field resources to assist with the storm response.<\/p><p>Significant progress has been made in the last 24 hours following yesterday\u2019s storm. Latest estimates indicate about 163,000 South Australian electricity customers have been affected by outages since a storm front reached the State at 10 am yesterday.
