It was reported that the truck had also collided with concrete bollards on the side of the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About ten minutes later, officers spotted the B-Double driving erratically at Monash and attempted to stop the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver initially failed to stop for police and continued driving east but&nbsp;was eventually stopped on the Sturt Highway at Monash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver was subsequently breath tested and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.196.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 61-year-old man from New South Wales was arrested and charged with exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol, driving under the influence and aggravated driving without due care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence and was bailed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court on 27 February.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A truck driver has been arrested for drink driving at Monash yesterday.
