They had a picture of one pool\u2026 it\u2019s not really replacing our Aquatic Centre at all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople that are worried about losing their amenity should be worried because they will be\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were disappointed\u2026 this situation has forced the council to go out to consultation without any plans for the Aquatic Centre at all, all we know is what the area is\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a fantastic solution for the Crows\u2026 it\u2019s all good for the Crows but for the parklands not so much.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe independents on council don\u2019t quite know what we\u2019re going out to consult on. There\u2019s no more detail than when they came to us three months ago on that [Aquatic Centre] component.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Leith said as a dad he didn&#8217;t think the AFC plan stacked up for families\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think it\u2019s great for the Crows but it doesn\u2019t work in terms of a public space. You\u2019re replacing an aquatic centre with a pool. One pool. One.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was there four days ago with my daughter. You know how many pools there are? Five. There is a kids pool, there\u2019s a diving pool, there\u2019s a lane pool, there\u2019s a play pool and I guess you can count the water slide in there as well\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFive into one.
