The fire started in scrublands south of Port Lincoln and has burned towards Proper Bay, which has impacted on structures and the local waste management facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt is estimated that both industrial and residential properties have been impacted, however, several properties were saved due to the diligent and timely response by all emergency service personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCurrently, significant amount of thick, potentially hazardous smoke is drifting across the area and the community are urged to stay inside, limit movement around the area and close all windows and doors.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Incident Update issued regarding the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/PORT_LINCOLN?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#PORT_LINCOLN<\/a> fire.
