The Adelaide Crows have reportedly agreed to a deal that will see star forward Eddie Betts return to his old club for next year.<\/h3>\n

According to News Ltd:<\/p>\n

Eddie Betts will be a Carlton player within days on a one-year deal that is expected to see the Blues part with pick 47 to regain their former cult hero.<\/p>\n

Carlton and Adelaide have agreed to terms on the deal which will see Betts sign a contract that Adelaide will contribute towards financially.<\/p>\n

Betts is expected to sign a deal that will see him reap over $400,000, of which Adelaide will contribute around six figures.<\/p>\n

They will secure pick 47, with Betts accepting of the single-season offer despite ideally wanting a two-year commitment.<\/p>\n

He had another year to run on his Adelaide contract and was set to be paid as much as $600,000 by the Crows.<\/p>\n

But they have done the right thing by Betts, who is keen to get back to Melbourne to be closer to his partner\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
