{"id":8809,"date":"2019-09-22T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-22T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/a-shocking-crash-is-causing-big-traffic-delays-into-adelaide-this-morning\/"},"modified":"2019-09-22T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-09-22T00:00:00","slug":"a-shocking-crash-is-causing-big-traffic-delays-into-adelaide-this-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/news\/a-shocking-crash-is-causing-big-traffic-delays-into-adelaide-this-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"A Shocking Crash Is Causing Big Traffic Delays Into Adelaide This Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>There are big traffic delays on Monday morning following a three-car crash on North East Road.<\/h3>\n<p>The road is closed in both directions between Fleet Avenue and Sudholz Road and is not expected to open again until after 9am.<\/p>\n<p>According to The Advertiser:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A BMW sedan and a Commodore station wagon collided, practically ripping the Commodore in half, at the intersection of North East Rd and Pitman Rd in Windsor Gardens.<\/p>\n<p>The third was damaged as a result of the debris.<\/p>\n<p>The male driver of the BMW received serious head and internal injuries and was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>The female driver of the Commodore managed to step out of her vehicle and was taken to the RAH in a stable condition as a precaution, while the third driver was not injured.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">North East Rd closed at Windsor Gdns after a horrific 0230 crash. A Commodore cut in half, hit by a BMW, engine 30m across rd, steering wheel 50m away, female driver steps out.
