Adelaide Crows ruckman Sam Jacobs has confirmed he is leaving the club following strong speculation<\/a> his time at West Lakes was over.<\/h3>\n

Sauce, 31, who played 184 games for the Crows, has told the club\u2019s website:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was always a childhood dream to play for the Adelaide Crows and to make that a reality is an achievement I will always be proud of,\u201d Jacobs said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t achieve the ultimate success but the relationships and friendships I have made will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter a couple of weeks of really open discussions with the Club, I have decided it would be best for my family and career to exercise my free agent options.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do this with a heavy heart as I love the Club, it was an extremely difficult decision to make.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

There were reports earlier in the week that Jacobs had agreed to a two-year deal with GWS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
