Adelaide Crows premiership captain Mark Bickley says the club\u2019s recent \u201clack of urgency\u201d at the national draft and AFL trade table is about to change after its list has declined quicker than anyone expected.<\/h3>\n

Bicks writes in The Advertiser:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe decline of the Crows list has surprised everyone, including those looking after Adelaide\u2019s list management. Of the four first-round picks received by Adelaide for losing Cameron, Lever and McGovern only one was used towards gaining an experienced player in return.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe rest were used on long-term future prospects, and in some cases pushed out to next year. All totally understandable when your list is mature and you are challenging for the premiership.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately for Crows fans, unless something changes, Adelaide isn\u2019t challenging for the premiership. And none of the four first-round picks or players received as compensation are going to be the short-term answer.<\/p>\n
