Following a fourth knee reconstruction in December last year that left him feeling \u201cworse than what it was before\u201d, Fitzy underwent exhaustive scans that revealed a truckload of problems.<\/p>\n
\u201c[The doctor] has come back and said \u2018first of all you have scoliosis in your back so you will have problems down the track\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201c’You have got osteoarthritis in your hips that you will have problems with and why you have got pain in your right knee is you have really bad arthritis, you will need a knee replacement at some stage in your life.’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Fitzy revealed he is now considering a drastic leg alignment to relieve his pain. He shared his doc (who himself has had an alignment)\u2019s description of the procedure on Nova 969:<\/p>\n
\u201c’What they do is break your leg underneath your knee and turn your knee to straighten up with the top bit of your leg, so you walk straight instead of bow-legged and you\u2019ll be pain free, it\u2019s changed my life.’<\/p>\n
\u201cYou basically have to break your legs and you\u2019re on crutches for eight weeks,\u201d Fitzy said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
