Police are investigating after shots were fired at the Yatala gate house overnight.<\/p>\n

Police were called to the Yatala Labour Prison about 11.30am today, Wednesday 1 May, after suspected bullet holes were found in the gate house at the entry to the prison.<\/p>\n\n

Police searched the area and recovered casings nearby.<\/p>\n

The incident was not reported at the time, but is believed to have happened about 12.50am on Wednesday 1 May.  There were no injuries.<\/p>\n
