Introducing: the Adelaide City Plunge Challenge and, most important of all, its brave challengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Friday 25 August, 60 supporters of leading medical charity Flinders Foundation will take the plunge of a lifetime in the good name of charity. And by \u2018plunge\u2019 we mean a not-so-casual 70 metre abseil down the InterContinental Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group, comprised of Flinders Foundation members, students, builders, caterers and more, will unite to tackle the challenge and raise vital funds for medical research and patient care at Flinders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Flinders Foundation Executive Director, Ross Verschoor is hugely grateful for the lengths the intrepid supporters will go to, to raise funds for the Foundation\u2019s important work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;At Flinders, hundreds of patients and families face immense challenges every day. By taking on this plunge today, these amazing individuals are showing how far they will go on behalf of those who need it most.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s such an inspiring demonstration of how our generous fundraisers working together with us to prevent, cure and care!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So far, the teams have raised more than $55,000 for health and medical research and patient care at Flinders but more funds are needed.
