{"id":9468,"date":"2019-04-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-29T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/an-adelaide-uber-driver-has-lost-his-license-for-drink-driving\/"},"modified":"2019-04-29T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-04-29T00:00:00","slug":"an-adelaide-uber-driver-has-lost-his-license-for-drink-driving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/news\/an-adelaide-uber-driver-has-lost-his-license-for-drink-driving\/","title":{"rendered":"An Adelaide Uber Driver Has Lost His License For Drink Driving"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>An Uber driver was busted more than five-times over the legal blood alcohol limit last week.<\/h3>\n<p>According to SAPOL:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>About 2.15pm on Tuesday 25 April, police conducting a driver testing station stopped a car on Mead Street, Birkenhead.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, who had fare paying passengers in the vehicle, submitted to a breath test.&nbsp;&nbsp;He returned a positive reading of 0.252, more than five times over the legal limit.<\/p>\n<p>The 38-year-old man from Birkenhead was reported for drink driving, he lost his licence on the spot for twelve months and his car was impounded for 28 days.
